On April 6th, 2023, Mr. Bui The Giang, Vice President of Vietnam - US Association had a meeting with members of the delegation of Friendship Force International (FFI).
At the event, Mr. Bui The Giang, Vice President of Vietnam - US Association shared an overview of Vietnam’s history and people as well as information on the socioeconomic growth situation of Vietnam overtime.

The delegation of Friendship Force International (FFI) from Romania expressed gratitude to all the members of the Vietnam-US Association and specifically mentioned that the visit to Vietnam was made in order to better understand Vietnam's history, culture, traditions, and lifestyle.
Through the sharing session, Mr. Bui The Giang, Vice President of Vietnam - US Association particularly highlighted the successes that Vietnam has attained in the Doi Moi process and the values of Ho Chi Minh's thought are still preserved.

Ho Chi Minh’s thought was imbued with patriotism, love for the people, liberation of the nation and the people as well as ensuring welfare for its people. President Ho Chi Minh’s invaluable philosophy of development has orientated today’s sustainable, inclusive and harmonious development. Today, there are still risks of wars and local conflicts in some regions of the world, but Ho Chi Minh's aspiration for peace, friendship and cooperation among countries with different political regimes still stands the test of time and is becoming the guidelines of most countries and peoples.The viewpoints of the Vietnamese people on globalization were also discussed. The present spirit of humanity and the development principle for the wellbeing of all people must be considered as the cornerstone of globalization, including cultural globalization and economic globalization.The delegation members from Friendship Force International (FFI) expressed respect for Vietnam's fight for independence as well as the hospitality of Vietnamese.
