Building on the historic upgrade of U.S. – Vietnam relations to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in September 2023 and celebrating the 30th anniversary of U.S. – Vietnam Relations in 2025, The U.S. invite Vietnamese institutions to apply for the opportunity to host Fulbright specialists to help their institutions prepare curriculum, develop faculty, conduct institutional planning, and train on topics critical to advancing shared goals.
The U.S. have many other disciplines that they would like to encourage Vietnamese institutions to submit their requests. Institutions looking to host a specialist in STEM fields are especially welcome to apply.
Eligible disciplines for STEM fields include: Computer Science and Information Technology; Engineering Education; Math Education; Physics Education.
Eligible disciplines for other fields include: Agriculture; American (U.S.) Studies; Archaeology; Anthropology; Biology Education; Business; Administration; Chemistry Education; Communications and Journalism; Economics; Education; Environmental Science; Law; Library Science; Peace and Conflict Resolution Studies; Political Science ;Public Administration; Public/Global Health; Social Work; Sociology; Urban Planning.
Specialists will support the host institutions in a variety of activities including delivering a seminar or workshop, consulting on faculty or workforce development, developing academic or training curricula and materials, lecturing at the graduate or undergraduate level, and conducting needs assessments or evaluations for a program or institution.
Vietnamese higher education institutions (colleges, universities, academies, institutes), government institutions (ministries or agencies, courts, parliamentary or representative bodies, non-governmental organizations, cultural institutions (conservatories, museums, etc.),medical institutions (public health organizations, teaching hospitals, etc.) and think tanks are encouraged to apply.
The application deadline is set for Friday, February 28, 2025.
