Let's join hands with TRONG to create a better living environment for the future generations of our nation |
Tran Do Quyen, British International School confided: “The most memorable moment for me on this trip was participating in the ‘Cooking for the Kids’ activity. Together with my team, we prepared special dishes like spaghetti and French fries-foods that the children in Si Ma Cai had never tried before. As each plate was served, seeing their curious eyes and playful smiles brought us immense joy. It was a simple yet meaningful experience that left me with unforgettable emotions.”
Nguyen Hoang Hai An shared: “Perhaps hundreds of online calls and meetings have been set up on Discord for producers to discuss and together produce the music. Each 8 or 9 pm, I always saw people join the discord server and stayed there for 3 hours to discuss the music. We talked about how we wanted the music inspirational and emotional at the same time, which is why the music turns out to have a very high tone in the chorus. We discussed the appropriateness of each instrument in each particular part. Or most importantly, we tried to design a chorus that is ear-catching and easy to memorize and sing. Thus, considering all the factors and important elements of the final product, we decide to produce the work that you can listen to today.”
Quang Thanh, Phan Boi Chau Specialized High School, Nghe An confided: “Although we are living in the 21st century where society has become more civilized than ever, clean water, one of humanity’s most crucial necessities for survival, is still unavailable to many. As children of this world, we, the members of Trong Project, have given ourselves a mission. With music as our wings, we want to once in our lives play the roles of angels, bringing the taste of fresh water to those in need. Furthermore, the song is not only our answer to people’s cries, but also an amplifier, spreading to the world a message, that nowhere in the world should uncontaminated water be a luxury.”
Inspired by the MV "Stealing the sun", the project “TRONG - Bringing Clean Water to Villages” serves as a vivid example of the creativity and social responsibility of high school students. Beyond producing high-quality musical work, the project profoundly conveys the message of raising awareness about water conservation and delivering clean water to remote highland villages.
With its dual mission, the project not only focuses on providing clean water but also aims to enhance community awareness of the value of water resources. Educational campaigns about protecting and using water resources responsibly have helped local communities better understand the critical role of water in sustaining future development.
Notably, the project empowers women and children to actively participate in managing and operating clean water systems in their communities. From promoting environmental hygiene to maintaining water supply systems, they have become key contributors. This effort not only preserves water resources but also promotes gender equality within the community. It is not merely about bringing clean water to each household but also about building a safe, healthy environment filled with love and hope.
