At 10:00 p.m. (Vietnam time) and 8:00 a.m. (U.S. time) on February 13, 2025, the Pickleball World Federation (PWF) and IGB Group officially signed a comprehensive partnership agreement, marking an important step in the development and digital transformation of Pickleball on a global scale.
According to the agreement, PWF will recognize members and issue membership codes through the VPickleball application—an application owned by VPickleball Vietnam Joint Stock Company. At the same time, both parties will collaborate to develop and implement a comprehensive, scalable, and user-friendly software platform (including a website and mobile application) to revolutionize PWF’s daily operations.

The technology platform will be designed in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN-SDGs) and the objectives of the International Olympic Committee (IOC). This initiative is a significant step in supporting PWF’s “Pickleball Movement” and fostering the responsible growth of the sport worldwide.
Key areas of cooperation include:
Developing a professional tournament management software system to facilitate the efficient and transparent organization of Pickleball tournaments.
Creating a live score application for international tournaments, enabling audiences to follow real-time results.
Utilizing AI technology and Big Data to analyze strategies, assess athlete performance, and support training.
Building a platform to connect the global Pickleball community through cutting-edge technology.

During the signing ceremony, Mr. James Combs, President of the World Pickleball Federation, stated: “The partnership with IGB Group allows us to elevate the sport of Pickleball by leveraging technology to expand and professionalize the tournament system, while also attracting more players globally.”
Representing IGB Group, Mr. Vu Xuan Nguyen, Chairman of the Board of Directors of IGB Group, also emphasized: “With our experience in developing technology platforms for the sports sector, we believe this collaboration will contribute to making Pickleball a more engaging sport, reaching a broader audience within the global sports community.”

The cooperation agreement between PWF and IGB Group not only unlocks significant growth opportunities for Pickleball but also highlights the fusion of sports and technology to create new experiences for both players and spectators.
